It was friendship at first sight, across a row of cubicles.

The universe brought Cheryl and Eileen together in 2015 and forged their friendship in the fires of IT as champions and co-founders of a women’s professional development community.

After writing my own eulogy in the 2020 dumpster fire, I broke down and am building back up. “This is happening” is my motto now after publishing a book and jumping off the side of a mountain.

I arrived in the usual chaotic Gemini fashion: three weeks earlier than my expected due date.
As a Gen-Xer I survived ‘80’s fashion and fax machines.
I’ve wanted to be everything from an animator to a game show host. Most of all, I’ve aspired to create and tell stories. I live for storytelling and being involved in areas where stories are told and shared.
I am an avid reader, an aspiring writer, and now am embarking on helping others share their stories through a new podcast.

This podcast originated with how it usually does, Eileen texting, “Ok, hear me out…” and Cheryl replying, “Ohhh. Say more.” This podcast demonstrates what happens when two Year of the Rat adults (pssst…this is secret fun #3) put their minds together.
